Last month, I had the honor of photographing the wedding of these two lovely friends of mine. They're a joy to be around and are rockstars in front of the camera, so I saw SO MANY beautiful moments throughout their big day. The intimate ceremoney was held at The Suttle Lodge in Sisters, Oregon. Let me tell you, this venue had everything. The bride and groom got ready in their respective cabins before a first look on the shoreline of Suttle Lake. Amid their suiting up, the groom bestowed a heartfelt gift to his best man. Vows were then exchanged in a breezy gazebo, before a snowy portrait sesh, and donut reception back at the lodge.
I'm very thankful to have been one of two photographers present. It was both fun and stress relieving to tackle things from different angles, knowing the other had a different view covered. His photos are not included in this post, but I hope to work with him again in the future. I'd also like to give special thanks to the help I recieved from my wonderful husband/assistant, who had a hand in staging the first look. Please enjoy these highlights of the beautiful day!

As we enter into this joyous holiday season, I'd like to look back on the first elopement session I had the honor of doing for a very sweet young couple! Every wedding is so special and unique to the couple who planned it. Sometimes a big party with all your friends and family is the perfect way to celebrate. This time, a handful of people in the woods were all we needed to comemorate this beautiful beginning. Watching along were their fathers, an officiant, and myself. I've honestly always wanted to be a part of one of these beautiful small services and these two did not dissapoint! They were so full of joy and love for eachother and it was absolutely wonderful just being there as they spoke their handwritten vows. Please join me in wishing these two all the happiness in the world as they take it on together!
These two were such a joy to photograph and celebrate this past summer! We took some portraits at The Grotto before heading to their beautifuly decorated tent wedding! All of the food and decor was prepaired by these two and their loved ones. They were such sweet and welcoming hosts. The Groom himself even delivered beverages to guests moments before the ceremoney. Please enjoy some highlights from their big day! Congratulations to this perfect pair!
An intimate backyard ceremoney, a potluck with friends, cake made by the bride, and chickens. The groom photographed my wedding almost one year ago and I've been very excited to return the favor. Having taken portraits of these two before and knowing one of them for almost 15 years, it was a huge honor to be a part of their wedding! The hosts were so sweet and the details so lovely. The space provided by friends of the couple was also home to some mischievous little chickens. We could not resist including them in some of the photos. I have so many favorites to share and I hope you enjoy! Congratulations to my dear friends! I wish you all the happiness in the world!
