This week, I'd like to share a little throwback from before the sun left us last year.
A client introduced me to this little gem called Wintler Park and I love it! If you're looking for a chill beach area in the Portland area, this Vancouver spot is just across the river from the Portlan Airport. While I quickly became obsessed with this lovely view of the river, the park also has nice wooded areas that showcased some gorgeous fall colors. We were even treated with some tunes on the ukulele. How fitting for the surroundings, right? Big thanks to this young man and his family that arranged this session. Congrats on your upcoming graduation!

It gives me great pleasure to present this family session I did just before Christmas!
A very sweet couple I got to work with recently showed their portraits to family and just had to get some more done. When their parents requested I do portraits with them, their daughters, their daughter's husbands, and children, I admit I was a little nervouse as I added the number of bodies together. However, this beautiful family was an absolute dream to work with. When the arranged day arrived, the weather was unkind and brought us wind and rain, but there was a bright and happy energy as we all jumped around one of the patios at Edgfield, in efforts to grab the attention of four little ones. Wishing you all a happy 2019 as we breeze through February, please enjoy highlights from my lest sessionn of 2018. What's that? A blog post? I'm back!
I've been quiet on the blog the last two months, in lieu of a transitional time I entered into near the end of last year. If you aren't aware, I keep another job outside of photography. This allows me to really focus on the quality and time I give my customers, without charging large amounts. I'm very pleased to announce that I will now be available for sessions all day, every Saturday and Sunday! Evening sessions may be scheduled during the week as well. I'll be doing a bit of catching up on the blog in my next few posts, but this week I wanted to share photos that were just taken today. My husband and I borrowed my parents' Westie for a stroll through Multnomah County's latest snow fall. The adventurous little Kekoa enjoyed every minute of our walk up Powell Butte, smelling all the smells and making a handful of new friends. |
